What has become clear to me over the past few years are the differences between likeminded patriotic Americans concerning the best direction for our nation. Almost everyone who lives here knows we are a great nation, otherwise they would not be here. The problems arise when every single American thinks they know best the direction we should take for our future. Many have come from other countries or their parents did and they see how easily their voice can be heard. This is mostly a good thing and defines our liberty. But, it also makes everyone think their voice needs to be the loudest and anyone who doesn't agree needs to be shot down with labels, because it seems to be effective.
Many of my conservative friends do not really understand or know there is a huge difference between a liberal and a Leftist. This video makes it very clear liberals are not the enemy of conservatives, at least those who are not total wingnuts. Liberals and Conservatives can and have always worked together toward common goals in this country. It is only the past decade there has been a major swing and empowerment of Leftist ideology. To me, this is the major enemy of democracy, the Constitution, and our nation.
