After a couple of years of discussion with all sides of the most pressing issues to make the mainstream media lineup in this country, one terrifying fact has become overwhelmingly clear in the past few months. As we pass the middle of the year 2020, it is clear there are galvanized segments of our society which are so entrenched in their beliefs and perception of reality of the major issues, any hope of compromise does not seem likely. Any hope of civil discussion towards common ground, or a unified fight for the good of the country, is fleeting at best.
We are heading towards what may be at the very least, continued and worsening widespread anarchy and civil unrest, and at the worst an armed civil war. What is most likely is something in between. Leftist in this country have seized upon perceived injustice and divisive issues in a way which has polarized the country to a degree not seen in my lifetime. With the support of the mind altering assistance of much of the mainstream media and Leftist indoctrination in American schools and universities, division has been firmly established.
While attempting to have civil discussions with the most hardened on each side, I've come to a conclusion which may soon be a catastrophic reality for the nation I love so much, the not so United States of America. At some point in our near future, there will ultimately be a necessary awakening of those who oppose the perceived destruction of this country and all which has been accomplished toward equality and opportunity for all citizens. It seems inevitable when facts don't matter and highly charged emotion has put up barriers to any form of dialog or unity of action, we are headed towards a war.
Having served in the U.S. military for a career, I've seen war in a few foreign lands. During my longterm deployments in these lands, I've delved deeply into their history and tried to understand how they have devolved into war. As any combat veteran will tell you, when you look at countries which have totally fallen apart and experienced widespread war, the one factor which is always a major contributor is internal division leading to solidified polarization, anarchy and the taking up of arms.
All we need to do is listen to the stories of Americans who have immigrated to the United States from failed societies and war zones around the world. All would say the same precursors are now visible here as they were in their native country prior to disaster. History is replete with examples of strong and thriving nations which have fallen apart when dialog has ended. Many had been thriving civilizations for much longer than our relatively short history. But, when groups divide, polarize, and galvanize in their stance, large scale conflict is inevitable.
How does our immediate future look? As the country again goes into total lunacy over the shooting of a violent felon resisting arrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, it becomes clear facts are insignificant. The fanatical Leftists in this country do not care about anything other than the color of the skin of those involved, while screaming about racial injustice. Justifying violence over the killing of a known felon resisting arrest, is something unacceptable by the rest of the country.
When facts no longer matter and reality does a 180° turn, there is no hope. When looting is justified and accepted by comparing it to the colonization of this nation in the 1600s, there is no hope. When cops are ambushed and killed, we have no hope. We are on the road to some sort of crisis in our near future. Do I believe there will be an all out Civil War which disrupts the foundation of the entire country? Hopefully not. But, certainly I believe we are on the path to armed groups killing one another en masse if we continue this path, and I'm not the only one who sees this as not only a possibility but a probability.
From my point-of-view there will be two deeply entrenched sides and all the rest are going to have to choose one.
Civil War 2020 Discussion: July 2, 2020
Madison Mills - Bloomberg Quicktake
Key points of this video;
Institutional racism exists - there are absolutely no institutions in the United States of America which accepts, promotes, or allows racism of any type from the outside nor inside! Period. If you think otherwise, prove it to those who are on the inside and say it is a lie.
Extreme unemployment rates are due to other than COVID-19 - Record-setting numbers in unemployment were seen prior to COVID-19. To say there was anything but upward momentum in continuing this trend, and the cause was anything other than COVID-19, is a lie.
President Trump is divisive - If you take offense to anything President Trump ACTUALLY said, then it is your issue. If you choose to be anti-Trump because of it, feel free it's still America! During the news conference about Charlottesville on August 15, 2017, the liberal media latched onto a few of his words "...some very fine people on both sides" and say he was saying white supremacists and Nazis are good people. This lie has been repeated continuously and has probably swayed a lot of votes. IN FACT though, just 50-seconds later he clarified by saying, "I'm not talking about the neo Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nYLSAgj0Hk
Americans en masse do not like each other very much - Simply Bullshit. Most Americans outside major liberal cities and organizations with members who are totally Leftist and not true Liberals, have hatred in their heart for anyone who doesn't agree with them. But, I have had two discussions in the past week with black men about race, police brutality, and the 2020 race and we ended by agreeing on a few things, and giving one another a hug. So, the comment is BS and based on a very limited microcosm view of America.
Political Polarization has gotten worse - Political polarization has not gotten worse. It has become more violent, disrespectful, and self-centered for sure. But, it is no worse now than in the past.
Republicans argues black people "don't deserve welfare benefits" - Wow. This one is simply an inflammatory statement based on absolutely nothing. Every Republican with a platform will say welfare does no good for black people. We lost the War on Poverty of the 1960s spearheaded by Lyndon B. Johnson. Welfare has not increased opportunity for minorities and the poor in America. It has destroyed generations.
America is the wealthiest nation on earth
No external threats exist greater than our internal division
Mostly peaceful protests are the ones attacked by police
Trump tried to get the military to attack protesters
U.S. Military will not support President Trump against the American People
President Trump encouraging Rightwing armed groups to be violent
Groups in American want mass unrest and a war
Needs to be a revolution, hopefully non-violent
The 1960s and 1970s did not devolve into Civil War
"Start a new constitution" ... ???
There are countries better than us
Overall decline of American exceptionalism
Fox News led call for secession from idea 'we all share an objective reality'
Hillary Clinton's 'baggage' was only 'carry on' while Trump's was 'steamer trunks full of baggage'
White voters consider the country's changing demographic a problem
Better to be 'too alarmist'
KKK had 4-million member when U.S. had 80-million people
Why did the 1960s not lead to Civil War?
Police killings 'have skyrocketed'
'Woke white people' gives hope
The BLM organization has perpetuated a hatred of those who risk their lives every day to protect our society and even the ones spitting in their faces. Because of a concerted efforts by Leftist entities in all areas of media, lack of honesty, decency, and strength of celebrities and politicians to denounce violence, we are heading for a major crisis. This day has been coming for decades, but most including myself have missed the signs and the seriousness of the situation. It's too blatant and obvious to ignore any longer.
